About the annex
A library of everyday questions
What you will find here
GK Library Annex explores everyday questions about the sky, weather, words, numbers, our bodies, and daily life. It is operated alongside the main GK Library, which collects subjects, resources, and books. Each annex article explores one question and offers a short quiz to help you think it through.
Find recent articles on Today and browse topics and related reads in the Library. Search and read marks help you follow your interests. Language links connect the Korean original with its English, Japanese, and Chinese editions.
Publishing
The GK Library Annex operator is responsible for publishing and maintaining the site. Consult the references provided with an article and report errors through our contact page.
Editorial and correction standards
We aim to answer the question, rather than simply reach a word count. Our standard is to connect a concept, its mechanism, and everyday examples, adding context that helps readers understand. We distinguish supported facts from interpretation and avoid presenting uncertain claims as established facts.
Notes beneath an article may contain a recap or information about references. When a separate source link is provided, you can use it to check the supporting document. We aim to provide specific document titles, organizations, and direct links, and to improve older articles where references or explanations are insufficient. Our standard is to explain ideas in the annex’s own words rather than reproduce another source’s text.
If you notice a factual error, translation issue, or copyright concern, send the article URL, the passage in question, and evidence we can check. The operator reviews reports and updates the article when a correction or clarification is needed.
Health and economics articles provide general information. They do not replace professional assessment for personal medical, investment, or legal decisions.
